This was when I first cut out the material and began to sew it together (I sewed everything- and I mean everything, by hand).
So this is when I had sewn half of the body and attached the ears. I just had to sew the side, the tail and bottom on.
And this is right before I finished. I had sewn everything together and all I needed to do was stuff it, fix the plastic on the bottom (to support the inside so the bottom was flat and it could stand) and then sew the bottom on.
And this is the finishing product! The bottom does look a bit off and I think it just had to do with the angle I took the picture and the plastic inside because it was a little crooked but I straightened it now so it's fixed.
I'm finished! It took a few weeks but it was worth the wait I guess. It looks pretty cute, you gotta admit. I decided to make it look like my cat. Her name is Oreo and she is black and white (like the Oreo biscuit... black and white) with green eyes, pink ears and a pink nose.
So yeah! All done.
Fab work Paige.
ReplyDeleteYou worked hard to complete Oreo.
I know that making something a little bit smaller and with a bit of hand stitching involved is not the easiest thing. I agree with your comment that it was worth the wait! Great that you personalized it to reflect something of importance to you. I can clearly see the steps you took to complete your work and the alterations you made even after you thought you had finished. You took your time to make sure it was how you wanted it. Be proud of your efforts!
A job well done! :)
