22nd November - Passion Projects - Documentary

Passion Projects

So far we haven't really done anything more since Monday. Apart from filming a little? I'm not sure. But I wanted to share our Draw.io plan which is basically everything each member is contributing to;

If you aren't able to read it properly, I've written it out below;

Myself- The manager. I'm apparently shooting the photography, writing the paperwork, designing and more on the presentation side of things.
Dylan- The assistant manager (if I'm not at school, she's the manager) she's emailing and contacting people for permission, writing the paperwork too, and researching.
Kiera & Neika- They're editing the films, promoting the documentary, and coming up with the questions to ask for the documentary.
Gary & Jordan- They're taking the pictures, filming (the documentary), and Gary's the voice behind it (asking the questions).

So,

I'll keep updating our progress during each lesson.

19th November - Passion Projects - Documentary

Passion Projects

What is our Passion Project?
For our Passion Project, my group is doing a documentary on how Passion Projects positively affects the community. We are going to be interviewing people from different Passion Project groups, and asking them how they feel it helps out in the community.

What have we learnt/done so far?
So far, we have sent out a google form asking who would like to participate in this project. I've also recorded who wants to do what. We've sent out an email to the teachers asking if we have permission to (possibly) take students from their class for a short while to film them. And we've also found some filming equipment to use on specific days.

How does this help us achieve our Passion Project?
Keeping a plan on what we're doing helps us stay focused on our objective for the day. Also, asking students to participate is a good way to figure out who is doing what, and to have it all planned out when the day comes, so we don't have any mishaps.

What's our next step?
We're probably going figure out the days to film that suit everyone properly. We'll ask the people who have offered to be interviewed actually want to do it (make sure they weren't joking around) and the next time we might start filming. So far- that's the plan, Stan.
